You may have heard the rumors. They’re not wrong. I’m stepping back from wedding photography. I have no good reason other than I’m kind of burnt out. Weddings are exhausting. I love my couples and have made many lifelong friends in the wedding industry. But the 8-12 hour wedding days just don’t fit into my life right now. Instead, I’m choosing to focus on family and commercial photography. Senior pictures, family portraits, headshots, branding images, real estate.
What does that mean for my past SDP couples? Nothing. Your galleries are still live. You can still order prints or albums for one year after your wedding date. Your images will continue to be backed up for five years. And you can still text me with a fun memory from you wedding day.. or for those maternity or family portraits. I love hearing from my couples!
While my focus is on family and commercial photography, I am still open to doing intimate weddings. Think less than four hours and all at one location and less than 50 guests. If your wedding day doesn’t fit my parameters but you’re specifically looking for an area photographer specializing in the timeless, classic, romantic style of wedding portraiture, please reach out to Jacqueline Helene Photography or Courtney Dohse Photography. They’ll take great care of you.
I’m in the process of updating the website and am always available via email at sarah@sarahdemaranvillephotography.com with any questions or availability.
